ALTERNATIVE CONTEMPORARY SONGWRITER and singer Keiko Takamura performed as the Ingenue (new) Artist at the Dublin in SL Live Music Showcase held Saturday. Takamura was introduced by Paradise Popinjay [another talented SL musician]: "Keiko is the most promising writer I know. There is an honesty in her work I adore." The crowd agreed, reaching a peak attendance of 39 during the performance. For many this was their first live experience in SL. The artist good-naturedly took requests and charmed the crowd. '[Her] voice in beautiful!" said Kaia Ennui [of Nocturnal Threads in SL]. "Keiko Rocks!" agreed Sedgewick Spengler. "I CAN HEAR NOW IT'S BEAUTIFUL!" said one guest, new to live music, who (finally) found the right Preferences setting.
